From January 2010 twelve more counties Cavan, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Leitrim, Limerick, Mayo, Offaly, Tipperary, Tipperary, and Waterford have to have all titles registered with Property Registration Authority (Land Registry). Hence all property transactions let them be sales or leases will have to be registered from January 2010. Combined with the Land and Conveyance Law Reform Bill this will reduce registration delays and associated costs for the benefit of the consumer and pave the way for electronic conveyance of land.
